England Athletics Awards 2011

National Awards – Your vote counts

Please take a moment and go to the below link. This is an opportunity to nominate an unsung hero in your club, a volunteer, an official, a club, your local network or services to disability and mainstream athletics. These awards are to recognise people for the work they do in our sport. I have voted for a number of people but with your help we can make sure the people from the North stand up and be counted.

The survey doesn’t take long and it would be fantastic if you could send it on to your contacts so everyone has the chance to vote for someone they think deserves recognition. There is a disability section too but it doesn’t mean that you can’t vote for another category. It’s not just about disability athletics so please vote for as many people as you can.

The closing date is August 19th so please nominate now. National winners go on to receive two tickets to the 2012 Olympic Games so it’s worth voting for.

Unfortunately votes in the North are low at the moment so please change this and nominate someone.
