DUKA wins Norwich Union Community Sports Fund 2007 “Join Our Team” Bronze Award

Deaf UK Athletics is pleased to announce that we have won the Bronze Award in the Norwich Union Join Our Team 2007 campaign.
Norwich Union said “The first Norwich Union Community Sports Fund took place in 2007, and was a huge success. In all, 176 of the 216 local sports initiatives involved secured at least £1,000 worth of funding. Twelve of these were crowned regional winners, winning £12,500 each and Norwich Union gave one initiative, Active Archie, a very special prize fund of £50,000.”
DUKA has recently received a payment of £1,000.00 with the following statement:- “If we win £1,000.00, it will enable us continue to run our website, produce and distribute promotional resources across the UK as widely as possible.” With the help of the public votes, we were successful. DUKA would like to thank everyone who voted for us. The award will be used in accordance to the above statement.
